Repost @zarpashmakeupworld How amazing is this look! 😍 I wish I could recreate it. She has uploaded the video tutorial as well so hmm 🤔 Always love her looks. #makeuplooks #blue #rockingblue #zarpash_makeupartist

So here I am with my first product review. Khaadi CoNatural – Apple Moisturising Lip Balm It has sort of a grainy texture. It might not feel nice and smooth on application but works wonders! Even on chapped lips. This has become part of my (barely there) night routine especially. Doesn’t have any taste. A faint smell of apple. I have been using it for more than a year. It seemed like a small quantity but it’s a lot. It was reasonable as well. The Body Shop – Strawberry Lip Butter The taste and smell, oh my! I am guilty of eating it 🙈 The texture is beyond smooth. But… it doesn’t help much with chapped lips. It’s good for dry lips though. If looking for external hydration, this is not it. I use it during the day, over matte lipsticks, and sometimes over Khaadi balm for a plain smooth look. – – – Of course we need drink lots of water and eat less salty food as well. But these balms are external hydration sources. #cosmeticreviews #makeupproducts #khaadi #khaadinatural #khaadiconatural #lipbalm #balm #thebodyshop #apple #strawberry

Oh my God! Such perfection of foundation, highlighter! The shades are blended so well ❤ I think I can recreate this with @hudabeauty #makeuplove #makeupartistrybyamaara #perfection
TruSkin Serum

“Oh it’s just a gimmick these days. A trend everyone is following.”
But @raab1e still convinced me to use it. Give it a try.

I was doubtful because I didn’t like commitment to skin care 😅 and of course if it didn’t work that’s a lot of money down the drain!
But it worked!
Only 1 month regular use at night and there was a huge difference (check my night time skin care routine).
Proper water intake (at least 6 glasses).
Avoiding touching my face (coz I can’t stop so I avoid).
That’s it!

I didn’t change my diet or sleeping pattern as such to say my face/skin was getting more rest or something.

The acne marks started to lighten (of course I didn’t expect them to vanish. I’m realistic. Be like me!)

Skin felt lifted and tight. I’ll even say there was a shine on my face as well 🌟

For some personal reason after using the product regularly for months, I discontinued my night routine completely for the next few monthssss. And that included disturbed rest, sleepless nights, bad diet etc. I could see the dullness back.

Once I resumed the self care regime, BOOM! I can see the change again.
Highly recommended.

I got this from US for $19

This formula is cruelty free, plant based, and has advanced antioxidant features.
3-5 drops daily followed by moisturizer is how it works best.
*always do a patch test before applying all over face and wait 24-48 hours*

I am here with another review. The Estée edit – by @esteelauder
Radiance Activator.It says “Treat+Prep+Glow”
Since I have not seen any drastic or minor changes on my skin, I won’t say it has treated something on my skin. Prep and glow, yes. It does! It helps with the glow for sure.It says to use it alone or over a moisturizer or makeup.I have used it mostly on my bare face during the day and washed it off after a couple of hours. But it instantly lifts the skin. Doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and doesn’t look too shiny either. It gives an instant soft glow as it has ever so tiny particles of shimmer. It sort of works as an illuminating primer.
Of course you need to wash your skin properly before applying any product 😝
Pat dry your skin and then apply this or anything.Oh, I will say use a small amount as for this, Radiance Activator, little is a lot. It’s a bit thick (is that the word?) so definitely not for summers or when going out in warm weather.I have still used it in warm weather and it doesn’t slide off with the sweat. It’s just that there’s more sweat and you can’t really wipe it away. Coz you’ll be wiping away the product.
If you’re good with being able to control your hands 😁 you can use it then 😊

Hello my little night time skin care routine! 🌛
*Routine. That’s not in routine*

Let’s start off by the things I use:
1. Face wash
2. Serum
3. Lip balm
4. Moisturizer

For years I had oily skin so I just loved the instant shift from dull to radiant skin. The slimy oil totally gone. Washed off by a harsh face wash.
Then my skin changed to a combination skin type – recently I read an article about how that’s no type but anyway – so I shifted to more softer ones.
#himalayaskincare has many types of face washes available. I love their lemon one for days I’m wearing proper makeup🍋
But for normal use, this one is a bit hard on skin. It gets drying for ‘not oily’ skin.

#garnier is another ah-mazing company with a variety of skincare products. Variety of face washes too.
The one I like to use every now and then is the garnier pure active 3 in 1 Wash, Scrub, and Mask.
Very soft as a scrub. A light mask. Daily cleanser. Works fine on my skin type. Although it says it is for oily skin.
Price: Rs. 160

I use the #truskinserum and this is my first and only serum I have ever used.
Like for some products we say, I’m not sure if it works or not because I haven’t used other products to see if this is the expected result.
With this, I have seen results. So if not in comparison yet, I can totally say it works! 👍

Pour a few drops of the serum all over your face and lightly apply. Use finger tips to sort of give a massage under your eyes and above your brows.
Price: $19

Do not forget to scrub/moisturize your lips with a balm that has healing effects. Like #khaadiconatural lip balm ❤
Price: Rs. 300

Lastly apply your moisturuzer.
Can you guess what has worked for me till now?
Coconut oil 😁
– Also read a NEW research that coconut oil is actually bad for most skin types. And here I am using it in place of a proper moisturizer 🙈

NYX Professional Makeup
Ultimate Shadow Palette Ash

NYX is one of my favorite brands for a variety of products. I love their eye shadow palettes, their lipsticks, glosses, primers etc.

This palette was a relaunch along many other Ultimate Shadow Palettes.
– – –
The texture is so smooth.
If you apply with your fingers and press against the lid, the colors pop exactly as you see.
If you use a brush, you’ll obviously need a little build up. But the colors are so sharp and solid, you might be surprised if you use a lot of product on your brush.

This is a great combination of matte and shimmery shades.
The dark blue, maroon, shimmery blue and shimmery rose gold are my favs! (You can see that too lol)

The silver, grey and smokey black are basic shades so one palette in hand and you can play quite a bit 😍

The price is $18 but I got a good discount and paid around $15 for this 😎 Follow: @maryam.ejaz91

Makeup Makeup Makeup 😁

I have 3 Masarrat Misbah products:
1. Matte lipstick
2. Silk pressed powder
3. Silk foundation

And I’m running out of them now 🙈
Gotta buy them again before I have none left.

🔹️Matte Liquid Lipstick
Color: Phenomenal Red
I love the pop of red in this one. Especially because this bright red is very hard to find. I have other reds that are more towards the dark side. Or reds are orangish. This one is great.
However since it’s liquid lipstick it feels a bit dry on my lips. I use a lip balm under it and top with a dab of gloss. Or loads of gloss. Mood 💋👄

🔹️Silk Pressed Powder
Shade: Natural Beige
I love this the best. It’s such a soft powder that I wasn’t sure of buying. I bought when I was out of my favorite face powder and really liked it.
The color matches my skin tone and I use it without ANYTHING else to freshen up my face. Maybe one coat mascara and a soft lip stain.
It finished way tooe early lol

🔹️Silk Foundation
Shade: Fair
This foundation is THE best for my skin type. It’s not oily and it’s not dry. Maybe a bittt oily around the T-zone that’s it.
It’s super light weight. So your face doesn’t look like it’s packed with product.
Now the reason why this is perfect is because you can wear one layer of this and just lift everything up, look fresh, cover the blemishes and spots. Or you can add multiple layers and give the absolute fine look that any full coverage foundation provides.
So this maybe a down side for those looking for a full coverage foundation. This is medium.

The Bobbi Brown foundation stick is LOVE! Unfortunately I was given this as a gift in the wrong shade.
So I thought:
“Give away Bobbi Brown? Nope!”
I started using it as color corrector 😁

You have any MM products?

I have always found it hard to take care of my skin. I could exercise, I could eat well. But I would never really take care of my skin. It seemed so hard and so much work 😁

Last year I started doing minimal skin care by
❌not touching my face as often❌
TRYING to drink more water.
Serum. That’s it 🙊

This year 2020 I finally started my night skin care routine.
When everything, after the birth of my second daughter, was way different than what I had planned.
When I couldn’t recognise my own body.
When walking, sitting, pre-pregnancy routine chores seemed hard.
When I couldn’t fit into my old clothes.
When my face was only mine.
I started slow.
Working on my face. Then diet. Then body. Then routine.

These few things above you’ve seen me review before. Some I’ll review in a couple of months (guess what? I finally bought myself a moisturizer 😁)

So 2020 marks a beginning of this new found self love. Happy New Year to everyone.

Did any of you have a tough time as a woman? Or as a mother?

Pure Desi Moisturizer Review

I have a mixed skin type and I am almost never satisfied with moisturizing creams. They’re too thick for my skin type.
So I asked the owner and she guided me.
I think it’s been over 4 months? Since I started using it and I only waited to use it before reviewing it.

– – –
Very light on skin. It has a soft fragrance of rose and cucumber.
Little is a lot. It’s great for summers as well as winters (for me I don’t really have dry patches in winters but I still used the same to see the results).

This one has gel consistency.
Rs. 850

The other product is their kajal stick. Now this I’m confused about. It works great as a kajal and is BLACK. If you are used to of “surma” then you might not like it.
My daughter uses this 😉
Rs. 90

L’oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Blushes

“Surkhi powder” to sub k pas hota he 😂

I didn’t know blushes are more than shades of pink so I only have these two. They are perfect for all occassions! The best part is I can brush up a little or pack more to add color
(swipe to see shades)
Super blendable!

A soft natural shade “Tender Rose”.
Especially when the lipstick is dark.
Works well with heavy makeup, complete foundation and even everyday looks.
You know I have used this one a lot!!!! (Pic says it all)

For a more pinkish evident blush on “Rosy Outlook”. I don’t mind using a sharp color on cheek with dark eyes.
Works great for parties and a more glamorous look. Or very light barely there makeup with this shade.

Current price: $11 or Rs.1’750

They have an attached small brush which works perfectly!

Both these shades work great on pale to fair skin tone and wheatish skin tone. For darker skin, maybe this might not work. I personally have only worked on above mentioned skin tones.

The last item is Primark Opal Blush Bar.
These shades are for Highlight and Glow. I use it on top of my blush to add a shimmery blush look. And a dab of highlight in tear ducts.

What other shades of blush do you think I should have?
